Undo and History in Adobe Illustrator

As at Jul 2016 there is no History Panel in Adobe Illustrator, although it does seem a popular feature request. To go back through the history of your work in Adobe Illustrator, you therefore have to rely on sequential use of the Undo/Redo commands, as follows:

Undo an action = Edit Menu > Undo = Ctrl + Z

Redo an action = Edit Menu > Redo = Ctrl + Shift + Z

There is also a Revert feature, which will take you back to the last saved version of your Illustrator work:

Revert to Last Saved Version = File Menu > Revert = F12
